Any alumni or current HB Studio students?
I’m an aspiring actress and have never taken any acting classes before. I had 2 people recommend HB Studio and when I saw the HB Studio alumni, which had many celebs, I thought this may be the right place for me to take classes.
I wanted to know what classes did you take that you thought were most helpful and which teacher(s) do you highly recommend? Are their any teachers or classes you do not recommend?
From, reading the descriptions of the classes for Winter 2008, I’m thinking of taking either Technique & Scene Study, Scene Study or The Practice of Acting. What do you think of those classes, especially for a first timer?
I might have been one of the two. I was there four and half years. The classes you selected are perfect for beginners. You can audit at HB, so you see the teachers in action before you commit to their classes. You really can’t go wrong there.
