computer acting sluggish

why is my computer acting sluggish?

every time i try typing something on my computer (including now) it takes about two seconds to type each letter. Eventually it will catch up when i am done typing but i have no idea what to do, i have tried restarting it and everything like that but nothing worked. thanks

If you have windows try this.

Press ctrl alt delete. Open task manager. Click the performance tab. If the “cpu usage” is much higher then 10% while your not doing anything then some program is running that is using up all your processing power. Go to the process tab. click show processes for all users. Look for the one with high usage. Its probably either your anti-virus running a virus scan or some kind of maleware. If your sure its your anti-virus, click end process and run a virus scan.

If you CPU usuage is low the idk what the problem could be. Do you get the same problem in notepad? If not then its probably an issue with your browser.
