acting modeling agencies toronto

Do you have to pay to sign up with any modeling/talented/acting agencies in Toronto?

I want to be an actress, but my family doesn’t have enough money to send me to any acting classes or programs. I really want to be an actress or a model but I can’t find any modeling/talented/acting agencies in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am 13 years old and I am going to be in the 8 grade in September.
Can anyone help me?

I couldn’t tell you if it’s different in Canada, but here in the US we’d call it a scam if an agent asked for money up front. Legitimate agents here get a percentage of your pay after you get a job, usually 10%.

If you don’t have money for classes, get involved in theatre, student films, etc. a.k.a. on the job training. Try searching for auditions on backstage.com and actorsaccess.com both of which have info for Canucks How much I don’t know, but they are a search location option.
